Yes We Can… Make a Difference in the Lives of Kids…

Note from HS graduate http://www.neighborsforkids.org

The Lincoln City NewsGuard recently honored the accomplishments of two of  our finest examples of young adults who just graduated from HS.  I was so moved when receiving the following note, that sharing it is a must.  The note gives me great pride in the kids we support and mentor at Kids Zone, our after-school program in Depoe Bay, Oregon.  It also demonstrates that our best work as adults, especially those of us in our later years, is to make a difference for kids.  Children are the best hope for the future.  Doing your part each day as a parent, mentor, or friend will go along way to ensure that we help all children to achieve their dreams; and become healthy, happy, and productive adults.
