We boomers have a spiritual connection with Jimmy Buffett and Margaritaville!

Judy loves Margaritaville!

“Margaritaville New Orleans is the ultimate tropical escape in a city that celebrates its eccentricities and honors its rich cultural heritage. This multi-level restaurant presents a colorful collection of indoor and outdoor dining and event options for small groups up to full restaurant buyouts.
The atmosphere is inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett, whose evocative songs inspire a cross-generational yearning to escape to an island adventure. The main floor is an artistic tableau of New Orleans Culture and Buffett memorabilia with a bayou riff.
Live entertainment is a given in New Orleans. The stage of the Storyville Tavern resonates with the sounds of fresh new talent and a history of legendary performances including Jimmy and the Coral Reefer Band.”
Margaritaville Event

Jimmy Buffett makes us feel like kids back in the day!  Margaritaville in New Orleans is a “bucket list” experience.  Judy and I spent hours hanging out between the restaurant and the store and couldn’t get enough of the rich “boomer” cultural value of this unique place that took us way back in time.  We also enjoyed this part of the French Quarter next to the outside market close to the Mississippi River.   Margaritaville is on our list again when we return in December.  We hope Jimmy Buffett will show during the holidays.  Judy is already anticipating the knock out margaritas…  I get the “virgin” version…
