“Pueblo ” before…
“Pueblo” before…
Magic! “Pueblo ” is a planter!

When Judy found this piece on the Little Whale Cove Beach awhile back, it looked like something no one would pay any attention to, no not at all…

“Let’s take home and see,” I said with a smile of curiosity and a look of mystery. “Who knows?” It might be from an old shipwreck off the coast, ” I imagined thinking and dreaming again about such things…

“Pueblo” was very heavy then with seaweed, creatures from the sea, and the cycle of life in motion, as it traveled the oceans from afar. I had no idea then what it was, or that we would see “Pueblo” at Mesa Verde Dwellings, or maybe a Sea Horse too…

What do you see?

Driftwood Treasures Travel Far Out to Sea from Lands Far Away…

Very old driftwood piece finished to capture your imagination… Zoom in for close look, imagine with me…

I Just finished this Mindfulness Meditation Creations piece from Little Whale Cove. Zoom in for a closer look. It landed in my hands after the storm..

These driftwood treasures literally fly in with a tsunami like King Tides. Waves so large and winds so strong guide all things to shore. Things that reach our shore for the very first time.

If you don’t discover driftwood treasures right after the storm, they rush back out to sea. The next storm is coming again soon. With the enormous king tides during the winter months, they fly away, never to be found again…

The old driftwood pieces we find on the beach after the storm, are pretty worn, torn and old as the sea. Imagine how old. And, where it came from, so far away…

Did this piece come from an old tree branch in the mountains high above? Did it bounce and glide its way on stream down to the sea?

Did It travel the oceans for many decades, before flying in from the sea to land in my hands. Imagine with me…

But, what if it came from a sunken Pirate ship? Maybe, it crashed and sank off the coast in another time, long ago?

I think that’s it. Maybe it is. Imagine with me for a moment… Pirates from long ago…

There are 100s of sunken wooden sailing ships of old off the coast. Look at the coast on my YouTube channel and imagine with me how traders and pirates slammed into the basalt cliffs and rocks off shore…

Some of these rare treasures landed in Big Whale Cove. Sir Francis Drake, was one such famous explorer from Spain. It was the 16th Century, when he and his glorious sailing ship landed at the Cove near Depot Bay…

No doubt, Sir Francis Drake was greeted by the love and kindness of Chief Depoe of the Siletz Tribe. Imagine with me for a moment…

What is it, or something else? What do you imagine. Tell me on the CHAT button…

I continue to be inspired and moved by the journey of driftwood treasures as they fly into the Cove. After the storm, is the best time to find treasures in the Cove…

What treasures will I see next time? What will you see at your secret Cove? I can’t wait to get down to the Cove next time…

Please join me on my journey of history and discovery of unimaginable things that touch my soul. Imagine with me for a moment. Imagine again with me. Breathe…and imagine again…

Until next time, imagine worlds and treasures yet to be discovered. Yet to be seen… Imagine with me for a moment…

“SpiritLife” Another Treasure Trove of History from the Sea…

“SpiritLife”

I call this spectacular, stunning, gorgeous driftwood sculpture, “SpiritLife.”

I receive great joy and healing meditation making these unique treasures from the sea. I make them for dear friends and loved ones with love…

These gifts from the sea and my soul prove the existence of a “Spirit Life,” as a dear friend tells me often. It is my spirit speaking to me now through this stunning sculpture from the sea…

The beautiful souls in my life who have helped me heal and grow, I make these gifts…

You are the ones who have inspired me. You are the ones who picked me up and pushed me on to find my dreams…and my soul…

I know you have friends and loved ones like that too… Thank them. Honor them. For you are you because of them, and the furry love ones too…

“Serpentine” A Treasure Made From The Sea…

“Serpentine” side 1. Close-up of bottom midpoint hole reveal heart shape…
“Serpentine” side 2. I call this beautifully sculptured treasure from the sea…

“Serpentine,” another sea treasure landed in Little Whale Cove… Imagine, with me, where it came from. How long was it at sea?

It looked like a white cold dead snake when I picked it up earlier last week. When it was finishes, the original grain begin to appear like magic. I felt my spirit move back in time…

Look closer at the grain, and dream. Imagine the wisdom of age traveling the sea. 00

This unusually distinctive “Serpentine ” figure is very light, not like pine. The branch it came from was very crooked, unlike other driftwood pieces I’ve seen…

Probally from some far off land, so long ago. What kind of wood? Where did it come from? Do you know?

It takes stormy seas many decades to sculpture wood like this. Dream of the journey around the globe.

Imagine how many sunsets and moons it passed by. Dream of your journey too. Maybe around the globe, and on a remote island, I somewhere far away…

“Serpentine” begins a new life here in this land of dreams and Rainbows. What will be it’s journey of healing this time. Who will that be?

Imagine with me… Dream of your soul journey, far and away at sea with nature’s love for life and the seasons of joy…

Ancient Souls from Long Ago Meet Me in Little Whale Cove…

“Mystic ” Ancient Souls From Long Ago…

This is my latest Driftwood Sculpture, “Mystic!” I can’t stop looking at it! Sends me away to ancient souls of long ago…

I saved a little of the deposits of fine mulch that lived deep in the caves of this piece over many decades…

Think there must have been more than a pint after days of digging out the hidden treasures that made this stunning piece. The Air Plant makes it very special…

Zoom for a detailed closeup. You will be hypnotized like me.

Does anyone know how to test the substance for research purposes? My guess this is somewhere in the Cloud and a link can be found. Thank you for learning with me.

Your feedback always appreciated. I see you as a collaborator, a kindred spirit.

Please join me in this amazing journey of healing, kindness and love…

A Long “Mystic” Journey Ends in Little Whale Cove…

“Mystic” a journey at sea…

I call this old driftwood piece “Mystic.” It was a heavy clump of a black thing awhile back, when discovered after a storm in the Cove. I feel like an archeologist looking for the lost colony of the ancients from another time long ago…

Look closely to see the groves, nooks, cranies, corners and crevasses. Imagine discovering a buried colony from the ancient past.

The piece was decomposing. Driftwood has a life cycle in the planet’s echo system. Some pieces of driftwood become petrified over time, a long long time at sea…

Many living things from the sea, build communities and thrive, while taking up residence over many decades at sea and on land. It was on a “mystic’ journey so I imagined. God only knows to be sure…

See the Air Plant in a welcoming opening? It can be a cool coffee table top inspiration. Soul talks with friends and loved ones to see…

Dream with me. Imagine it’s journey around in the sea and on land before washing ashore at Little Whale Cove in the spring…

Come see our selection of driftwood sculptures and sea mysteries sometime. Imagine with me…. Go to this link with me, and your friends and loved ones too…

The Magic of Driftwood…

Where did this ancient piece of driftwood come from?
Food for the soul…
Amazing sculpture of the sea…

Imagine! Look at this very old piece of driftwood from the Pacific Ocean, from far away…

Think of clouds, the faces you imagine. Smiling faces of furry loved ones and wildlife friends appear while you dream and imagine.

Driftwood is like that too. Dreaming is like that too…

Dream of kindness and love. Kindness and love will come back your way… Breathe… and imagine…

Dream of your journey navigating the Pacific like a lone sailor drifting a lifeboat far out to sea. Think of a place where there is no land, just God and you, the seas and nature you own true to you…

“The magic of driftwood” speaks to my soul. What about you? Does your soul speak to you too?

Where does driftwood come from? How long and where does the magic of driftwood travel, far and wide, far at sea…

During the fall and winter months, when high tides coincide with the arrival of powerful storms, log booms break loose from shore. Trees topple into swollen rivers and streams as they rise with rage…

Who knows how long ago and where driftwood travels before reaching the shore of Little Whale Cove. Your journey ends at this private Cove where the Siletz Tribe lives…imagine…and breathe…

Imagine it’s the 16th Century and you meet Sir Francis Drake visiting the Siletz Tribe. Imagine the stories and friendship all of you share, a ‘peace pipe’ too…

Driftwood gives back to the food chain connecting the forests and the sea. From streams to estuaries, to the deep ocean floor, driftwood shapes the environment, they say.

While some know that temperate rainforests are enriched with nitrogen from the marine environment they share. Less well known is decomposing salmon thrive from driftwood trees…

Those same trees travel to the sea and become a vital source of food and habitat around the globe. Driftwood teaches many things…

I found some new driftwood pieces today. Come with me on a magic driftwood log to places far and wide. Driftwood teaches me and moves my soul…

Happy beachcombing at your secret beach. Find an ancient driftwood piece and dream of your magic journey far away at sea…

Driftwood Beach Art Moves My Soul…. “Journey” a gift from the sea…

“Journey” from Mindfulness Meditation Creations, Little Whale Cove, Oregon by Steve Sparks…

I can’t stop looking at it! It was amazing to watch this piece appear to me.

A Walnut driftwood gem from Malaysia? Currents and trade winds make for long ocean journeys from far away places.

How long was it at sea? Finally ending its long journey at at sea, on the beach of Little Whale Cove, when King Tides pushed it to shore…

Now, for all to see❤️ The colors & texture makes a natural sculpture from the sea…

I call the piece, “Journey.” A beautiful gift from the sea, indeed…

Completely black and very heavy at first eye. Years, decades or maybe much longer at sea..

The “journey” and adventures in the Pacific to many places unseen. Where did this gorgeous, naturally sculptured treasure from the sea come from anyway?

I picked it up on Little Whale Cove Beach about 6 weeks ago. After a big storm and King Tides launched it to shore.

It took more than a month to dry out it seemed… After cleaning, sanding, buffing and finishing, the stunning beauty appeared to me with enchanting clarity.

I made it for a special loved one… A spiritual gift made from my heart and soul…

A sculpture made by the sea, after a very long journey so very far away. Now, for all of us to enjoy and see… A treasure from the sea is eternal just like love and the seas…

Driftwood Beach Art Moves My Soul…

Steve Sparks, Author, Blogger, Mental Health Advocate…and aspiring artisan. Driftwood piece with Air Plant…
Imagine! Where did this piece come from? How long was it at sea? What did it see?

The stunning Driftwood Beach Art sculpture with a gorgeous Air Plant came to me from the sea. What do you see?

I wonder how many decades, even centuries of travel at sea. Where did it journey? What did it see?

I found this beautifully sculptured driftwood piece in Little Whale Cove some weeks ago. After drying for weeks, it was cleaned up and sanded around the edges.

Judy looked at it and said, almost immediately. “Air Plant!” The cycle of life moves my soul, once again…

I see God’s power and grace in all of nature’s imagination. Just look out to sea, you’ll feel your soul and see the same as me…

Imagine again! Imagine again with me…

All the best in healing and self care for you and your loved ones, furry friends too…
