My all time favorite quote from my friend, Gene Sharratt ❤ “Think a good day, plan a good day, put good into each day “
It is overwhelmingly clear to me at this later stage in life that ‘kindness’ is truly the sustainable solution for healing trauma. Growing up in a terribly abususive home and living my own adult life in a state of “fight/flight,” that without kindness, there can be no healing or happiness for the human race, period!

And, I’m not alone by a long shot and much more than that. Look at the intergenerational trauma on the planet. About 25% of the world’s population suffers from trauma, PTSD, major depression from all kinds of trauma, war, diseases, domestic violence, alcohol/addiction, rape, the list goes on & on…
No wonder most of us are sick with one thing or the other. The worst of it, in my mind, is workplace wellness, especially since Covid. Why? We can’t hug each other. Seeing & engaging with friends and colleagues is not a good idea for the close quarters of office spaces.
It’s even tough at school if you go there anymore. Hardly a soul goes to class these days, either. What do you think about all this?
We can spend trillions on therapy and medications and accomplish nothing, except make sick people sicker, at home, at school and in the workplace.
At the same time all this sickness is destroying our society, we are all too often not kind to each other. We are mean, nasty and bully each other.
I think most of us are just sick ‘n tired of being sick ‘n tired. How ’bout you?
Wow! Then, start to “Think a good day, plan a good day, put good into each day“ Gene Sharratt
