Meet my best friend and brother, Les Mathson! Les and I have been the closest of friends since 1983…

Wow! Do we have stories…

I walked into Les’s office at Nortel Networks in Renton, WA south of Seattle in June of 1983. First thing I saw in his office was a big beautiful painting of Jesus.

I kinda felt good about that, because most people were hard to trust. I’m not that religious, but knew Les would be a kind & loving boss. He also became and still is my best friend…

Les and I were alike in many ways. Professionally, we wanted to get results. Personally, we loved the outdoors, especially playing golf and fishing for Steelhead up the Skagit River…

Judy & I love visiting Les & Melanie at their home in Pray, Montana. In recent years, especially with Covid and other things, we haven’t been able to go fishing and play golf together like we used to.

But, keep in touch we do. Les, is my spiritual advisor, I’d say. I’ve never really trusted anyone I’ve ever known with that important job…

Les is the least judgemental person I know and trust. There is no contest, except for my loving wife, Judy…

Les has more empathy & compassion than most folks I know. He loves me for who I am. I love him the same for those reasons too…

We are best friends, Les ‘n me. We will will always be best friends. That’s how best friends are, they trust & love each other…

If you ever want to visit Pray, Montana get in touch with my buddy, Les. He will show you around. You’ll dream of living in Paradise Valley were the Elk roam…
