We couldn’t pass up exploring Devils Punch Bowl at extremely low tide conditions today!  Judy and I just got back from Pt. Arena in N.Cal where we were blown away by the coastal areas all the way down and back.

Here we are at home, discovering for the first time after living here for many years, the secrets of Devils Punch Bowl located a couple of miles from home at the Otter Rock Marine Reserve.

We could hardly believe what we were looking at from inside the Bowl, a place that is usually flooded most of the time.  Summer time on the Oregon Coast is great for beach combers due to typically lower tides.  But this year, the tides are much lower revealing areas we never get to explore.

With our friends and neighbors in the above photo, we thought of ourselves as 21st Century “boomer” explorers conquering our destiny, and discovering yet another  spiritual energy vortex on the planet.  We share this experience now with friends and family everywhere.  Thanks for joining us!
