“The Virtual Wall…” a tribute to the Vietnam War fallen…  Quoting from this website…

“The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington DC honors those who died in the Vietnam War. Their relatives and friends leave letters, poems, and photographs at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and on this web site. We bring the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to your home to help remember the sacrifices of the fallen and their families.”

Ronald Allen Slane is one such local hero from Lincoln County, Oregon…  Without the technology we enjoy today, the research required to write my book would have taken years.  I was able to research, write, and publish my story in less than one year!  We can now visit our fallen loved ones on the above new website provided by www.virtualwall.org.  Take a few minutes with friends and family and search for those you know and remember in America who gave their lives for freedom.  We owe so much to veterans of all wars.  It is a blessing with today’s technology resources that we can so easily remember those who served America but are not here to help celebrate Fathers Day on this Sunday, June 16, 2013…  Remember and honor veterans of all wars every day…
