On this day, September 11, 2012 we feel much gratitude to experience the beauty of Mt. Shasta.  We are reminded of our life of freedom in the mountains in Leavenworth, Washington on this same day 11 years ago when planes flew into the Twin Towers changing our lives forever. We will never forget!

Mt. Shasta is where the Sacramento River begins its journey to the Pacific Ocean
meandering its way to “the city by the bay” finally reaching the Golden Gate Bridge to the Pacific Ocean.  During the coming weeks snow will blanket the mountain and valley ushering in the beauty and peace of another magical winter season.
