More You, Much Less Me Changes Everything…

“Selfishness destroys relationships. It is the number one cause of conflict, arguments, divorce, and even war.”

Learning Empathy& Compassion

As I grow older, mindfulness moments have become creative moments. I can see things bigger than me, things not defined by dollars.

Much of my life has been consumed with learning how to have empathy and compassion. It seems to me that this is the answer to solving many challenges we face in the 21st Century.

Recently, I made a mistake. My egocentric desire took hold of my soul. It was a selfish choice at the wrong time.

While I had a goal earlier to take on another final fight in the ring, the window closed. But, my soul was misguided. The bad part of my unhealthy ego sent me to the wolves for a talkin’ to.

I earned the scars on my behind. Maybe there’s a lesson learned from “me, me, me” behaviors we hate from others, especially ourselves.
