I was laying in a a bed in a warm covered blanket surrounded by loving and kind folks. Think it was a small town on the coast….

it was cold outside and a little snow was falling. That rarely happens on the Oregon coast…

I was surrounded by little kids and even babies snuggled with me closely on the bed. I was cold and couldn’t move for some reason.

My body wasn’t moving. I tried to talk and couldn’t. That was scary, very scary to me too…

The kids and babies were smiling, laughing and playing next to me. That made me feel talking wasn’t needed with them…

I tried to get up to sit, but my body wouldn’t move. I was really scared then, very very scared..

All the kids and babies got really closer to me. They were smiling and giggling like little ones always do. Then they all started hugging and kissing me like little ones do, especially at Christmas, and just about everyday of the year…

“It seemed like it was a church or school,” I thought to myself, but didn’t know for sure. Parents and youngsters showed up. They were so kind and loving too….

It seemed like heaven to me. Everyone started talking softly while they were getting ready for something cheerful and joyful. It really made me feel safe in that moment when I needed it the most…

I tried to talk but couldn’t. I was really scared then, very very scared. The kids got closer, and the parents and youngsters too…

I felt safe and not so scared then. So, I tried to move but couldn’t. “Maybe, I was dying,” I thought sadly. That seemed very scary to me, very scary like no ther time in my life…

I tried to talk again, but my words couldn’t come out. So, I just listened for awhile as the parents and youngsters gathered and set up tables.and chairs. “Was this a Christmas party?” I was thinking that but couldn’t ask it outloud…

I tried to move, but my body seemed paralyzed in that moment. I tried to cry out, but that didn’t work either, in that moment…

An older beautiful lady with silver hair and stunning blue eyes sat next to me. She smiled then hugged me close for the longest time. “So warm and loving,” I said to my self. “I think I know you,” I thought with a lovng heart and soul, but couldn’t remember in that moment who this angel from heaven was…

So, she said to me softly and lovingly in my ear, “it’s going to be okay now, Sparkles.” Then, I knew who she was and felt safe again..

Then, a kind and loving man, I thought I might know, came over to me. He took my hand and helped me sit up on the bed. I felt safe again and spoke to my friends without a pause… I felt the Christmas Spirit in that moment…

All the parents, youngsters, and little ones got closer to me, all of them smiling warmly. Then I spoke softly to them, and told them my Christmas Spirit story…

After that, the kind young man took me outside on the street where others were standing. It was cold, but there was no wind like there usually is this time of the year. But, there was about 4″ of snow on the ground…

There was one man standing there looking at me while everyone was in a circle to keep us warm. I thought he was going to speak to me, but he just smiled, and said softly and warmly, “it’s gonna be okay, Sparky.”

Then, another dude came up and said, “duuude, I’ll see you you when you get here.” I knew who he was. I felt safe again in that moment…

in the moment, the older lady with striking silver hair, a beautiful smile, stunning blue eyes came up to me, smiled like she always did, and hugged me warmly for the longest time, and kissed me for the longest time.

Then, in that moment I knew who she was when she looked into my eyes, and said, “it’s going to be okay, Sparkles. We be together soon again on the other side…

She turned away slowly and held my hand for the longest time, and said, “see you soon my love, for our love is for all eternity.

Then the the kind town folk opened up to let the young man come to me and he took my hand. He helped me to Santa’s Seigh where Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer looked back at me with that big bright red nose, a wink and a node…

Santa welcomed me aboard his sleigh. As I looked back waving with sobs of joy, happiness, and love for all of these loving and caring folks in Depoe Bay, Oregon who we have known for so many beautiful years now…

I watched my loving wife, Judy, waving from a distance for the longest time until I couldn’t see her anymore. I heard her say softly, see you soon, my love, on the other side of of the Rainbow Bridge…

Rainbows over the coast are heavenly…
