I can’t stop looking at it! It was amazing to watch this piece appear to me.
A Walnut driftwood gem from Malaysia? Currents and trade winds make for long ocean journeys from far away places.
How long was it at sea? Finally ending its long journey at at sea, on the beach of Little Whale Cove, when King Tides pushed it to shore…
Now, for all to see❤️ The colors & texture makes a natural sculpture from the sea…
I call the piece, “Journey.” A beautiful gift from the sea, indeed…
Completely black and very heavy at first eye. Years, decades or maybe much longer at sea..
The “journey” and adventures in the Pacific to many places unseen. Where did this gorgeous, naturally sculptured treasure from the sea come from anyway?
I picked it up on Little Whale Cove Beach about 6 weeks ago. After a big storm and King Tides launched it to shore.
It took more than a month to dry out it seemed… After cleaning, sanding, buffing and finishing, the stunning beauty appeared to me with enchanting clarity.
I made it for a special loved one… A spiritual gift made from my heart and soul…
A sculpture made by the sea, after a very long journey so very far away. Now, for all of us to enjoy and see… A treasure from the sea is eternal just like love and the seas…
