This is sickening, disgusting and unAmerican. My God! We are all Americans!
I have dear friends, colleagues and loved ones who are Asian. All of them, every last one of them, have kindness and love in their hearts and souls.
My father helped free oppressed Asians during WWII. My mother always shared beautiful memories of her Japanese friends and neighbors while she waited for my father to return from the Pacific War, including Pearl Harbor.
I know from my aging Asian friends that they are being abused with hate and discrimination. Most have lived in diverse communities for decades, raising their families, working, always contributing to America as veterans and in serving their communities.
What’s happening to America? Racism and hate of our brothers and sisters of any color, race, religion, gender or ethnic background must end! What is going on? This is not the America I know… Shit!!!
