“Pueblo ” before…
“Pueblo” before…
Magic! “Pueblo ” is a planter!

When Judy found this piece on the Little Whale Cove Beach awhile back, it looked like something no one would pay any attention to, no not at all…

“Let’s take home and see,” I said with a smile of curiosity and a look of mystery. “Who knows?” It might be from an old shipwreck off the coast, ” I imagined thinking and dreaming again about such things…

“Pueblo” was very heavy then with seaweed, creatures from the sea, and the cycle of life in motion, as it traveled the oceans from afar. I had no idea then what it was, or that we would see “Pueblo” at Mesa Verde Dwellings, or maybe a Sea Horse too…

What do you see?

“Spirit and Soul”

http://www.ofspiritandsoul.com/earth%20vortices/vortices.html

“Vortices⁸ are high energy spots on the Earth. Earth energy is due to its electromagnetic field. NASA research has proved that the human energy field is tuned in to certain ‘Earth Waves’. (See section Energies) The joining on the surface of the Earth are ‘hot spots’ of energy focus which we know as the vortices of the Earth, these are linked by ley lines. A Ley line is an energy line, some being of more importance than others.”

The Fogarty Vortex

I felt overcome by the ‘spirits’ coming from the mountains to the sea last Friday when walking the trail to Fogarty Beach near Depoe Bay by the sea. This overwhelming feeling of God’s presence is a big part of my spiritual life on the coast, in the mountains, rivers, oceans, and by the sea…

I live in a Vortex by the sea. I see and feel God with nature as the seabirds fly above and the salty cool air fills my lungs. I breathe and breathe while my soul is filled with joy and peace by the sea…

Fogarty Beach pulls me closer to the shore where I can see life touch my my soul and God too. I start to see millions of years of nature’s imagination and the sculptures of stunning beauty and dream of things yet to be realized.

The Fogarty Beach Vortex. Do you feel it?

I dream again and again as I look across the ocean to west as the sun sets on the horizon. This is not of man. It is God that rules here by the sea…

The Fogarty Vortex brings earth’s energy into these magical places. These moments of heavenly feelings of love of my home by the sea, take me away to far off places, I can only imagine and dream…

I look and see tiny driftwood pieces. I look again and see the shapes and wonder where, when, how, and why. It can only be God, a higher power, I imagine again. This is not of man, I know now…

It is only nature and God’s presence that gives me peace and love by the sea. I see the sea birds fly, swim and roam the the beach close to me. They look at me with peace and love in their eyes…

I feel the spirits overwhelm my heart and soul. It is here, by the sea, where my body and mind feels whole. There can be no evil or hate here by the sea. There is only love here by the sea.

You can find your Fogarty Vortex anywhere you can see and feel love and not hate. It only love that makes me alive and whole by the sea…

Seabirds Returning to Oregon Islands Refuge…

“Seabirds are already returning to Oregon Islands Refuge for the summer breeding season. Keep your eyes peeled for the lanky Cormorants atop nearby islands, rafts of Common Murres floating in the surf, and the feathery flapping footballs that are the Tufted Puffins. A number of Puffins have already been spotted around both Pacific City’s and Cannon Beach’s Haystack Rocks this year. Head to the Haystacks early in the morning to take a look at the earlybirds.”

Spanning the Oregon coast, the wilderness islands and windswept headlands of Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge are celebrated for their abundant wildlife and rugged grandeur. Rocky islands and sheer cliffs provide isolated breeding and resting habitat for diverse communities of birds, marine mammals, and plants along the wave-battered coastline.

My days are most rewarded from learning more mystery, magic and stunning beauty of the Oregon Coast. I literally can’t get enough of this delicious and delightful soul food by the sea…

I learn new things each and every day. Living in the moment allows me to be completely captivated by this dreamy life by the sea…

Yeah! Breathing the fresh clean air from the sea is mindful and healing all day long, if my mind can dream, not fret. The seabirds bring new life to the coast in the spring, just in time…

Seabirds bring us more love and kindness too. After all, it’s springtime on the coast. We need more love and kindness than ever before…

Spring is here when the seabirds arrive at Oregon Islands National Refuge. It’s time once again to be thankful for our blessings in this beautiful land by the sea…

I see brighter days ahead! I see pink SeaThrift blooms and seabirds flying together, through the winds that heal us, by the sea…

“Jack” Friend of The Coasties

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depoe_Bay,_Oregon

Jack in his natural element. King of the Forest, he is. He loves walkies in the woods behind Depoe Bay…

Jack and his pal Jenny go to this secret place in the rain forest near Depoe Bay. Jack knows right where it is. He takes Jenny by the the hand and leads her there each day before the sun goes down.

Jack is “King of The Rain Forest and the coastal trails too. He believes it with all his heart and soul… And so does Jenny too…

Jack looks out for Jenny and all his wildlife friends in the rain forest. He looks for “Nettie Newt” sitting on his favorite little Fairy House waiting to chat with friends. They walk by the trail under the tall trees that reach to the sky….

Jack and Jenny went up the trail looking for Nettie Newt’s Fairy House. Jack fell down and lost his crown, still wagging his tail, while Jenny came running after…

Nettie Newt loves Jack the most, and Jenny too. He is excited when he sees Jack dancing and singing on the trail next to the creek by the Bay. The tall trees reach to the sky here in the rain forest by the sea…

“Nettie Newt”

Jack is back again soon. for he is King of the Rain Forest. He so loves to chat with Nettie Newt and all his wildlife friends by Depoe Bay and the sea…

Join me again soon for another adventure with Jack and Jenny, and Nettie Newt too. On the coastal rain forests and beaches, coves and rain forests by the the sea they explore. We will see Jack again. For he is King of The Rain Forest and all the coastal trails by the sea…

“Koda” The Whale Watching Golden Doodle, is a hit with the Gray’s, especially the kids in tow… He knows his pals, the Gray’s, who make their home by the Bay…

I dream of ‘Whale Watching’ most days as the the Gray Whales party in the Bay. Koda loves these beautiful animals, as they are his wildlife friends too…

I get a look at my Gray Whale friends while walking the Coast trail in Little Whale Cove. I dream of being with Koda as we watch all our Gray Whale friends together…

Koda barks as a Gray he knows comes near the boat to say hello. He especially loves the sweet smell of his Gray Whale pals as they spray near the boat.

We humans don’t like the smell, though. But, I know Koda does, and that makes the ‘sweet’ smell okay for me too…

“Fred Robison” A Depoe Bay Oregon Legacy… Community builder, a man of his word…

Fred Robison, community builder, a man of his word… Depoe Bay, Oregon…
In Fred’s memory…

https://lincolncityhomepage.com/how-moviemakers-drove-depoe-bay-cuckoo-in-1975/

Depoe Bay, Oregon

“One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” will always be a great metaphor for lots of my memories of Depoe Bay. But mostly in good ways…

First, I want to thank my dear friend and colleague, Liz Martin, for reminded us of the greatness and graciousness of her father, Fred. I know she loved him very much…

I think Fred knew we are all Cuckoo, anyway. He knew how to herd a town full of dear friends, loved ones, and the Cuckoo bunch too.

Fred was a leader, a visionary. Depoe Bay Harbor. “The Smallest Harbor in The World ” became a reality during Fred’s time at the helm…

The Depoe Bay Aquarium was a hit in Fred’s day. That was his vision too…

The Robison Family has always been committed to Fred’s dream of community building. We can be proud of being a most popular destination fishing village on the Oregon coast…

I know the Robison pretty well. They are like family to me. They treat all of us like family when we gather as friends during the annual Native American Salmon Bake and many other community events.

Not to mention the famous annual Crab Feed! All the world recognizes the huge blow up Crab exhibited each year on the north end of Depoe Bay near Boiler Bay…

Annual Depoe Bay Native American Style Salmon Bake

Folks come from far and wide to join the town folk for salmon, crab and cheer. The City Park has the aroma of salmon baking like the Siletz Tribe did for centuries before the white man arrived.

Native American Culture and Traditions keep Depoe Bay’s soul and Totem Pole spirits alive and well. Dancing and singing in the Park is a beautiful time of the year…

Fred’s dream of community building thrives, I believe… I have seen it for more than 16 years as a resident and former City Councilor. And, through all the challenges we have faced as a community, we thrive…

This is the town I love and call home for my family… It is the sea and the harbor that moves my soul. It is the Coast Guard station that reminds me we are all Americans, together, as one community…

Depoe Bay is a star on the Oregon Coast. Folks from all over the globe come to see and learn about the Gray Whale… These beautiful and magnificent mammals are loving neighbors too…

This beautiful story and Robison Family legacy makes us all proud! I had the privilege of meeting Fred in 2015 while serving as City Councilor.

Beenie Robison introduced me to his father, Fred. In 2015, while serving as Depie Bay City Councilor, we faced significant challenges with Depoe Bay Harbor issues. Fred’s wisdom and leadership was invaluable to me…

I was struck by his kindness. He was gracious and a true professional. He was a leader, and early ‘community builder’ before we knew what that was. We need Fred’s grace and wisdom at this moment, indeed…

Yes, we all miss Fred Robison! And we thank him for his US Coast Guard service during WWII. We thank him for his community service to Depoe Bay and Lincoln County for many decades. And, we thank for his love and caring ways…

Never ever forget the service of others who paved the way long before we came. Look back and learn the lessons taught then. The lessons learned help lead us into the future… I know this to be true…

The Sea Lives in My Soul…

I came home to the sea once again. It is here where God touches my soul… It is here when my heart feels love and peace…

It was here 16 years ago when Depoe Bay reached out to me. It is here now where my ashes will go back to the sea…

When? Only God knows when my soul returns to the sea. After all, this is where I came… It is only fitting I return to the sea…

When I look out to sea, I feel God touch my soul. I feel peace of mind once again…

I watch the Gray Whales when they visit Little Whale Cove. I stand and gaze without notice of the time.

I feel the Siletz Tribe fishing, hunting and caring for their families in the Cove long ago. I look at the Totem Pole watching over us in the Cove. It is here where God meets my soul..

Depoe Bay is a small loving, caring community by the sea. There is only kindness here. There is no hate, only love here by the sea, where sunsets appear on the horizon most days…

Storms always pass through, even when they rage. Storms pass just when I think the storm will never end. I feel renewed again, when the storm passes through.

When the Sun glows with such beauty through the clouds, I look out to sea. What do I feel and see?

I see the fishermen go back to sea again after the storm. The Whale watching boats follow closely behind too…

The cool sea breeze from the sea takes me far away. I see sea birds fly low and fly high with the wind. I close my eyes and think of love for nature and the sea. I feel love and kindness for my love too…

It is here by the sea where God meets all of us, not just some of us. I live in peace and love again right here by the sea…

My ashes will someday return to the sea. For it is here now when God touches my soul…

“Ollie and Olivia” Oystercatchers of Little Whale Cove…

“Ollie and Olivia” Oystercatcher friends at Depoe Bay, Oregon… Photo by Cecil E. Kennedy
“Olivia” Photo by Cecil E. Kennedy

Black Oystercatcher ‘Haematopus bachmani’ in Depoe Bay, Oregon. There were at least 2 dozen of them twittering loudly. Photos taken February 17 2021, somewhat got carried away and took lots of pictures 😍😀😍 Cecil E. Kennedy

https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/American_Oystercatcher/id

“Ollie and Olivia,” my Oystercatcher friends, live happily on the basalt cliffs of Little Whale Cove on rare days when seen. Both appear together watching their nest while the other searches for little morsals while the tide is low…

I love to watch Ollie and Olivia play and bathe in the tide pools on the balsalt cliffs near the sea. If we get too close, Ollie screams loudly at us while Olivia protects the nest near shore…

Hawks and Eagles stay clear, and so do we. Ollie and Olivia seem to play and bathe without fear…

Ollie and Olivia look black-and-white from a distance, with a bright orange-red bill. Their back and wings are brown, with a black head and breast, white underparts, red long beaks, and red eyes too…

I look for a white wingbar and white tail base when Ollie flys by. Olivia looks on with watchful eyes…

Ollie and Olivia probe sandy and stony areas for clams, oysters, and other delicious things. They open them by cutting or smashing with sharp long beaks.

Much of Ollie and Olivia’s day is spent resting in roosts during high tide on the cliffs near the shore. They are vigorous, and very loud, during courtship displays,

Territorial conflicts, and interactions with intruders keep both Ollie and Olivia busy all day. They keep their families safe from birds of prey…

When I walk by the cliffs near the sea, Ollie and Olivia are not always at play. I look each day for their beautiful long beaks and red eyes…

I love Ollie and Olivia, my Oystercatcher friends, who live in harmony by the sea… Both love me too as they see me walk by in peace and harmony with the sea…

Jason and Pals Willow n Cooper Find Solace in The Rain Forest…

“Willow n Cooper can’t wait for a run in the rain forest…
“Willow n Cooper, best pals…
Jason Evans…”Three goofballs on a muddy trek between showers ♥️”
Big Bro, Jason Evans! Friend of “Nettie Newt” https://survivethriveptsd.org/2021/02/jason-and-pal-nettie-newt-share-food-for-the-soul/

I ran into my good friend, Jason again the other day. “Willow and Cooper” were out with him on the old Immonen Road north of a Depoe Bay.

“During a pandemic, we are drawn to old logging roads. Two hours of play and no other humans to see…”Jason mused with his grateful grin…

“Willow and Cooper wanted to visit with “Nettie Newt,” old friend in the rain forest. She is always at her favorite spot telling stories of love, kindness, and cheer…

“Nettie Newt “

The only others outside Nettie’s circle of Newt friends are Willow, Cooper n Jason. For she knows they won’t step on her tail…not ever…

When Nettie Newt was hurt last time she saw Willow, Cooper n Jason. He picked her up ever gently. He slowly walked her to the ‘Fairy House’ back aways in the rain forest to heal…

“Newt’s grow back their Limbs,” Jason would say with excitement. “We are curious and amazed upon seeing Nettie grow her leg again and heal,” he further explained wth a look of inspiration…

Jason is like that. He cares deeply about all furry loved ones and wildlife friends…

So, Nettie Newt, Willow, Copper, n Jason continue their stories and laughter for awhile longer. Willow always knows when it’s time to get back home for dinner…

So they all climb back into Jason’s rig while Nettie Newt looks on with a little sadness in her eyes. For she will miss her pals until next time they come out again to the Immonen Road trail in the rain forest high above the sea…
