A Long “Mystic” Journey Ends in Little Whale Cove…

“Mystic” a journey at sea…

I call this old driftwood piece “Mystic.” It was a heavy clump of a black thing awhile back, when discovered after a storm in the Cove. I feel like an archeologist looking for the lost colony of the ancients from another time long ago…

Look closely to see the groves, nooks, cranies, corners and crevasses. Imagine discovering a buried colony from the ancient past.

The piece was decomposing. Driftwood has a life cycle in the planet’s echo system. Some pieces of driftwood become petrified over time, a long long time at sea…

Many living things from the sea, build communities and thrive, while taking up residence over many decades at sea and on land. It was on a “mystic’ journey so I imagined. God only knows to be sure…

See the Air Plant in a welcoming opening? It can be a cool coffee table top inspiration. Soul talks with friends and loved ones to see…

Dream with me. Imagine it’s journey around in the sea and on land before washing ashore at Little Whale Cove in the spring…

Come see our selection of driftwood sculptures and sea mysteries sometime. Imagine with me…. Go to this link with me, and your friends and loved ones too…
