“Buck ‘n Sadie” were hugging each other the other day as I watched them from a distance. I took this shot as the two embraced for the longest time…

I see each day how much love furry friends have for each other and us humans. I never see them not behaving in caring and loving ways, unless prompted to do so for fear of a threat to themselves or the humans they love…

I named these two love birds, “Buck ‘n Sadie” after our first family furry loved one “Sadie of Winterwood.” She had 10 puppies back then, so long ago. “Buck” was one of her puppies we kept for our own family, and to be a pal to Sadie…

Well, sadly Buck crossed over the Rainbow Bridge as a pup. He swallowed a thorny clipping of high grass while we walked and ran the trails near home. The grass clipping got stuck in his lung.

Buck lasted a few days after that. It was so sad to watch this beautiful and vibrant black lab get sicker each day. He was in great pain, so we had no choice but to put him to sleep 😴…

I write these stories to remind us as a family how we must be kind and loving to each other each and everyday of our lives. Our furry loved ones show us everyday of their short lives how to be kind and loving…

Let’s be kind to each other everyday just like the furry loved ones we count on everyday. We need to help each other to be more kind and loving to each other everyday…

With kindness and love, I share several stories I have written recently that have touched my heart and soul…
