“Bonnie n Clyde” The Crows of Little Whale Cove…

“Bonnie”
“Clyde”
Friend and neighbor, Jeff, tells the story of “Bonnie n Clyde” and “Ma n Pa Kettle” https://aquarium.org/animals/american-crow/

My friend, Jeff, a good neighbor, indeed! He looks for the Crows of Little Whale Cove when they return in the early spring…

“Bonnie and Clyde” arrive first. Both bring their family and friends to raise babies near the Cove…

“Ma and PA Kettle” arrive shortly thereafter with a loud screech and holler. Crows are never bashful about their enthusiasm for the Cove…

Bonnie n Clyde keep a watchful eye on Ma n Pa Kettle. The two families appear to have a dislike for one another at times…

A family fued has been brewing for awhile. The screech and hollers we hear all day are the Crows defending food and nests from other sneaky feathered ones, especially Ma n Pa Kettle…

Bonnie n Clyde, Ma n Pa Kettle live in harmony most of the time. Both families fly to the Cove each day for food and play…

Crow families stake out territorial boundaries, and build nests in the spring. My friend, Jeff, keeps a watchful eye on them too.

Nice to know…

Bonnie n Clyde visit Jeff’s home each day. Sometimes Bonnie leaves a rock or shell as an offering. Crows are a very giving and loving sort…

Crows appreciate Jeff and know he loves them. They also know he always has a special treat to share. The Crows know Jeff has their backs too…

Jeff’s home is a pit stop for the Crows of the Cove. They stop for a visit and a snack while at play.

Flying back n forth to the Cove to hunt for food and play with Eagles, Hawks and Gulls is tiring by mid day. A soft peck on Jeff’s cheek is a reminder for treats they so enjoy…

I know no one who loves Crows more. Jeff is a Crow whisperer, I believe. He knows Bonnie n Clyde’s unique screech and holler is a sign of love and friendship…

Ma n Pa Kettle are somewhat bashful and quiet most of the time as they defer to Bonnie n Clyde. Both are happy to clean up the crumbs left behind by Bonnie n Clyde…

Crow families of Little Whale Cove, led by Bonnie n Clyde, followed by Ma n Pa Kettle, fly east to west each spring to the the Cove they love so…

They know Jeff is a friend and neighbor waiting to greet them each spring. Little Whale Cove loves all its feathered friends and loved ones who return home to thrive in the Cove each and every spring…

The Crows of the Cove fly west to east each year in October. We so look forward to their safe return home to the Cove they love the next spring…

The Crows of Little Whale Cove are family too. We treasure their lives the same as all of us, not just some of us…
